Considering a pool for your home and are confused over what kind of pool to get installed? Here is a primer on five pool types you could consider:

Inground pool, indoors

These pools are expensive and are associated with luxury. If you can afford it, nothing can be more fun than an inground pool inside the home. You then won’t have to worry about the weather coming in the way of your swim sessions, and what’s more, you have all the privacy you want!

An above-ground pool in the outdoors

The above-ground pool built in a backyard is the most common and popular kind of pool among owners. An above-ground pool provides more opportunities for pool decor, and accessories like fountains, floats, a couple of trendy deck chairs, and candles that can be set afloat in the water. You can plan your landscape around the pool and make it look like a fun place to unwind. Safety is not a huge issue, because pool fences are available. You could also install alarms to warn you when children try to get to the pool unattended.

Endless pool

An endless pool can fit anywhere, either indoors or outdoors. It is modular and that makes it easy to accommodate the pool in any place. In essence, an endless pool is a smaller pool that has been designed to provide exercise to those who have a restricted place. It is often called a treadmill for the exercise it provides to swimmers. There is a continuous current (can be adjusted) to help the swimmer swim against and get a workout. An endless pool is typically 8 x15 feet and is a meter deep. Endless pools can be custom-made for people who have special requirements.

Jacuzzi pools

Jacuzzi pools offer streams of warm water to help users relax. They are not used for swimming, but for hydrotherapy. Jacuzzi pools are easy to install and are quite popular because of their size and the health benefits they offer.

Inground pool set up outdoors

Inground outdoor pools can be expensive because of the costs involved in setting them up. If you want to install one in your backyard, you would need to get an assessment done if the excavation for the pool comes in the way of other underground water connections. However, inground pools are the most traditional of choices and add value to your property. Options such as slides, beach-like accessories, rocks and spas can also be incorporated into them.
